Damallsvenskan summary and The Mark Dempsey effect

Just a brief summary of Damallsvenskan. Not at all as extensive as I did last year, but still.

Teams

A plot of the teams  performance with actual goals as Y coordinate and expected as X really says that most teams at the end of season didn´t have much of under/over performance when it came to finishing.  Kopparberg/Göteborg (a lot, 22 with reservation for that a handful games may miss some data) and Umeå conceded less than expected  while Rosengård scored some goals less than expected. That’s about it.

Players

And for players I’ll list the top performing in regards to shots/90, xG/90 etc (sorted by goals/90 minutes played)…

Lieke Martens, Ella Masar and Pauline Hammarlund are the top players when it comes to efficiency, G-xG.

 

And…

When I made my last blog post I also looked at how DIF had performed to se if their change of manager would be visible looking at the accumulated xG diff. Then I read zorba138s excellent summary of Allsvenskan. And just to comment to that and further confirm the Mark Dempsey effect, here it is:
